It's nice to see that they are back after closing for awhile during covid. I used to work close by so this was my go-to lunch location. I recently tried them again because I went to an event at the G1 center. The food and service is still good. Meal filled me up before heading to the event.
What a great little hiden gem. I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile but with covid and it closing. Decided to finally give it a try. The restaurant is hidden inside of Sacramento China town. Well what is left of it. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I ordered togo from here twice. First got the chicken yellow curry. We liked it so much that we got it again and also tried the tom yum noodle soup as well. Bot are very reasonably priced and are packed with flavor. Portions are the same,e as most Thai places or even a bit larger. Of the other Thai spots in downtown this definitely a spot worth trying. Much better then most of the other places to eat around the Kings arena.
Pad see ew was really tasty. It had good flavor but I wish it had some more sauce to be a bit more moist. But it had solid toppings and taste. The pad Thai was also tasty but felt a bit too watery. The service was really great and this really nice lady talked to us and made a flower on my Thai tea. A very homey place with comfort food. Not the best Thai food but definitely comfort food
Every time I go to the DOCO area I see the restaurant sign illuminating the stairs. The sign is just drawing you in to an amazing gem! Small inside but so much flavor potential. The pad Thai and green curry were on point. The curry came with rice! (big win!) My husband gobbled his beef pad Thai up in on sitting. Don't do what I did, which was waited to long to try this restaurant. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Food was fast and hot all the back to my house! Highly recommend!
My family and I used to go here a lot. Over five years ago. Then they changed ownership and the food was still good. Then I believe they changed ownership again back to the original owners. Their menu is streamlined now which I like because you're not overwhelmed with so many choices. We tried the spring rolls before and those are good. This time I ordered the chicken potstickers and the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The potstickers were good with its tangy sauce. I would have liked more flavor on the pineapple fried rice. They put curry in it, but even that didn't make it flavorful enough for me. Adding the spicy condiments on the side made it tasty, so all in all a good meal. Good service and will try again for other items on menu. Thank you.
